FRENCH NATIONAL DAY CELEBRATIONS 2025 On July 14th 2025, CCI FRANCE CHINE supported French National Day celebrations across Beijing, Shanghai, and South China, bringing together the Sino-French business, diplomatic and cultural communities in a shared spirit of friendship and cooperation. In Beijing, our President Remi Paul, our Vice-President Christine Miles and the elected members of the Beijing Board were honored to attend the official celebration hosted by the French Embassy in Beijing, China, alongside institutional and business representatives committed to building ever-closer ties between our two nations. In Shanghai, 850 guests gathered in the gardens of Villa Basset for a ceremony co-organized with the Consulate General of France in Shanghai. Opened by Joan Valadou 王度, Consul General of France in Shanghai, and Emmanuel Gros, Vice-President of CCI FRANCE CHINE. The evening featured a vibrant blend of Sino-French performances: Moving renditions of the French and Chinese national anthems performed by Anne Evenou and Shuwei Qiu, a showcase by young Chinese breakdancers, and a heartfelt testimonial from Jingkun Xu, Vendée Globe’s first Chinese skipper and a lasting symbol of Sino-French friendship. All these moments reflect the depth and vitality of our bilateral ties. The evening was also an opportunity to pay a warm tribute to Pierre MOUSSY, in recognition of his dedicated support for the Sino-French business community over the years, and to express our gratitude to Joan Valadou 王度, David Kibler, and the Consulate General of France in Shanghai for their unwavering support and commitment. In South China, CCI FRANCE CHINE attended the official ceremony organized by the Consulate General of France in Guangzhou, and hosted its own celebration in Shenzhen, bringing together over 150 participants at Residence G Shenzhen. The evening in Shenzhen was marked by speeches from our Vice-President Fabien PACORY, the Consul General of France in Guangzhou Sylvain Fourrière, and a video message from our General Manager Caroline PENARD. It was also a heartfelt farewell to Mr. Fourrière, whose leadership has significantly strengthened Sino-French relations and left a lasting legacy of friendship and cooperation. These celebrations, each unique in format and atmosphere, reflect the diversity, strength, and unity of our community. They are a reminder of the enduring partnership between France and China, and the importance of fostering, year after year, human, cultural, and economic connections across all regions. We extend our deepest gratitude to all the participants, our dedicated team, and our generous sponsors, for making these events a resounding success. #14Juillet #BastilleDay #FranceChina #SinoFrenchFriendship #FrenchNationalDay #CCIFranceChine #Diplomacy #CulturalExchange #Networking #Shanghai #Beijing #Shenzhen
